ummm.. opps.. Hi there...Jen R here, highjacking Shays blog... It seems something has gone wrong with Shay's scheduled post for our blog hop and since she is currently 1,000's of feet in the air flying to Nashville she is unable to fix it at the moment. For the time being while we wait for Shay to land, you can continue on with the hop over to the wonderful Stephanies blog here.
Hi girls, me here! Isn't Jen SO sweet?! She was my lifesaver while I was on my flight, takin care of things for me! I have an hour layover, so I want to take the time to apologize! I don't know WHAT Bloggers doing, but I hope you can see my pics now!
I made a mini to bring on a future road trip with me, & shared what I travel with. I ALWAYS carry a little canvas bag of scrap essentials when I travel! I know many of you would LOVE to do something like this, and it is absolutely perfect for road trips especially!
&& I'm giving away a $35 gift certificate to Chic Tags! Comment below & let me know what YOUR favorite Road Trip ever was :) Get an extra entry by following me on instagram @sbookinshay29 & leave another comment letting me know you did!
Head on over to Stephanie's blog, thanks for hopping along with us!

ReplyDeleteI love trips, so each my trip is my favorite :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite one was when we drove out to California. We were trying to make it in time for the Fourth of July, so we drove the first two days non-stop (except for rest stop breaks). We made it to San Francisco in 4 day from Connecticut!

My favourite road trip... Hard to pick just one, but I have the fondest memories of our family summer holiday trips to France & we'd drive from home (near London, UK) all the way to the south of France & have such fun listening to things like the Eurythmics & REM :) I follow you on Instagram too :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to pick The best one! :) I would have to say out best road trips are the ones we take with the Kids!! To see the big smiles on their faces when we get to where we are going... I love it and look forward to it every year!!

ReplyDeleteAMAZING!! Love the photo tip of what you carry with you when you travel!! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteMy roommates/friends and I went on many road trips in our mid-20s. I have so many fond memories of each, but I definitely think our trip to Yosemite was probably my favorite bc of all the unplanned adventures we had. I have yet to make an album for any of them either. *guilty*

ReplyDeleteI love your mini and little canvas bag, Shay. I have a similar one! I love to scrap on the go too.
ReplyDeleteAhh you travel in the same manner as I, with a stash of scrapbook supplies. I took a solo road trip & spent 28 days traveling through the Southwest states. Here are some of the trips highlights- I road a house through Bryce Canyon, a mule along Grand Canyons North Rim, almost stepped on a Western Diamondback Rattle Snake in AZ & a Male Tarantula in CO, got chased by a Coyote in NM, explored 7 National Parks, 30 National Monuments & drove over 5,000 miles all by myself. It was the best trip of my life & I would not change a thing about it.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite road trip ever was when we drove from San Diego to Seattle and stopped at the redwood forest. ... it's awe inspiring how massive, magestic and beautiful the giant trees are. ♡
ReplyDeleteCute album cover! My fav roadtrip def was a trip with friends to Berlin last new years!

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun mini!!! I really adore road trips, but find myself taking less of them as my life fills up. I road tripped it to CO for new years a few years back. It was a great adventure.

ReplyDeleteLovely album! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteMy fave road trip was from MI to CA, when we drove through the Mojave desert in July with no a/c in our car! Lots of fun memories, lol. :)
My favorite road trip was one with my family from NY-California.. it was quite a trip!
ReplyDeleteBeing that my hubby was in the Air Force for 26 years and only one of our assignments was overseas, it seems we were always on a road trip. We bought walkie talkies so that we could talk from car . (Most of our moves were well before the cell phones era LOL ) The kids always had fun with those, since we normally divided up the kids between the cars.
ReplyDeleteFavourite road trip was travelling the Pacific coast highway from LA to Oregon!
ReplyDeleteLove the little travel book!
ReplyDeleteMy fave road trips are the summer ones that are spontaneous and simple, just me and the girls. Love to discover new little diners & cafes, landmarks...singing our tunes and giggling and snacking (and scrapping!) along the way!
Super cute mini, Shay! What a fun idea to take a mini + some basic supplies with you on a trip. You are so prepared! Hope you have (had?) fun in Nashville!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely your mini travel book! Thank you for the chance to win!!
